This was my first full dumbo litter, which I was super excited for. All the babies were too cute with their big ol' ears! Sadly, this was the only time these two were paired together. Nessie was a little shy, but a very sweet girl. She came from the same breeder as Loch (not knowing they were a feeder breeder until they were bred). After being bred, she ended up having maternal aggression. Hers was not as bad as Loch's, but she still bit pretty hard. That kind of behavior calls for retiring immediately after the babies are weaned. A few months later, Echo, one of my sweetest boys at the time, developed hormonal aggression. However, all their babies ended up so sweet and loving! Loch was a Russian dove mismarked bareback with dumbo ears. Echo, produced from Sylvi and Carl, was a mink double Irish with dumbo ears. Loch did end up developing a tumor right after a year old, which grew rapidly and could not be operated on. Due to this, she had to be put to sleep. Echo lived to be 2.5 years old, but had to be put to sleep due to him developing HLD (hind leg deterioration.)
