Below are images that go along with the written instructions. If you have any questions, or a step is not clear, feel free to reach out!
Materials: - Blizzard or anti-pill fleece fabric (around 1/2 yard) (solid/print, whichever is preferred) - Fabric scissors or sharp home scissors - Marker (washable or sharpie) - Ruler - Hanging item (pipe cleaners, shower curtain rings, fabric strips, etc.)
Steps: - Image 1: Cut out a shorter rectangle to your desired length for the top of the hammock. The example piece is 14"x9". - Images 2-3: Cut slits on the corners. Then, fold in half and cut slits on the top and bottom edges. - Image 4: Cut out a longer rectangle to your desired length. I usually add 8"-12" to whatever the longer length is on the shorter rectangle. The example piece is 23"x9". - Images 5-6: Cut slits in the corners of the longer rectangle. Then, cut strips in the middle, as pictured in image 6. - Image 7: String the strips through the middle slits on the shorter rectangle and tie them. - Image 8: Feed your hanging items (pipe cleaners pictures) through both layers' corner slits. - Images 9-10: Hang it up and watch your little ones enjoy!
**You can make even more "U" shapes by cutting a longer top and bottom piece. Then, cut as many slits/strips in the top and bottom pieces to tie together like the double!
